Maximize Your Retirement: A Social Security & Income Planning Workshop
Wednesday, January 17th, 2018

An alarmingly high percentage of Americans are likely to run out of money after 10 or 20 years of retirement, according to the Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI). Researchers concluded that roughly 50 percent of those closest to retirement (ages 56 to 62) are unprepared to meet this harsh financial reality. In this workshop we’ll discuss the benefits of adopting a sound retirement plan with long-term investment strategies designed to protect your money and maximize your income.

Part I: Social Security accounts for 30-40% of the average retiree’s income. Unfortunately, with over 500 ways to claim benefits, many retirees leave tens of thousands of dollars on the table. Whether you’re single, married, divorced, or widowed – learn how to maximize your Social Security benefit!

Part II: With people living longer, healthier lives, and inflation returning to the economy, the need for income planning is as important as ever. Factoring in historically low interest rates and the temptation for “would be” risk-averse seniors to invest more heavily in stocks -- we now face what Nobel Prize winning economist, Robert Merton, describes as “The Crisis in Retirement Planning.” Learn how to build a balanced and diversified portfolio of investments (stocks, bonds, annuities, real estate, etc.) for safety, income, and growth.
