Representing Distressed Homeowners What Every Realtor Needs To Know

This class will help agents obtain more listings by working with distressed homeowners. Topics will include:
• Understanding the options that distressed homeowners have (short sales, deed in-lieu, loan re-negotiation, and bankruptcy)
• Understanding when a distressed homeowner may be liable for a deficiency in a foreclosure or short sale
• How and when agents can negotiate loan modifications
• Understanding chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcy and how it relates to your listings
