This class covers the new law (AB 2016, effective 4/1/2025 ), which allows a deceased person’s real property valued up to $750,000 to be transferred to heir/beneficiaries without the need for a formal probate administration. The class will teach agents about the requirements for using this process, the legal process for transferring property, and alternatives available when the property doesn’t qualify.
